Role types explained
This help article explains the three types of user accounts available in Goalspot: 'Owner', 'Admin' and 'Therapist. Each role type has different levels of privileges, which are explained below.
Role Type: Owner
This role type has full privileges and can do the following restricted actions:
- Access all clients
- Invite new users
- Change another user's role type (e.g. from 'Admin' to 'Therapist')
- Add templates to the Goal Library and edit existing templates
- Manage organisational settings (e.g., developmental domains, default progress methodology)
- Assign team members access to a client
- Manage subscription and billing for the organisation
Role Type: Admin
This role type has the same privileges as the 'Owner' role type, except for the ability to manage subscriptions and billings.
Tip: many clinics grant multiple users the role type of Admin, including experienced therapy team members who work directly with clients, but also help supervise or support other members of the clinical team.
Role Type: Therapist
This role type can:
- View only the clients they have been assigned access to
- Use all therapy-related features, such as creating and editing goals, collecting data and writing notes and generating progress reports for these clients.
