Adding and using goal notes

A goal note is a note linked to a specific goal targeted during a session. It helps track a client's progress by providing additional context, such as challenges faced, strategies that worked, and any observations that support decision-making.

For example, if a client is struggling with a particular goal or teaching step, a goal note can highlight what was tricky and what adjustments were helpful.

Tip: If a teaching step involves generalisation - e.g., number of instructions followed, pretend play themes used - then goal notes can document what the client is generalising with, providing valuable insights for ongoing support.
